So at the vet on Tues Dr Nancy had advised that I put a bowl of water in Blazes tank for shedding - at this time he is shedding his tail -- and his humidity is 29% so I have put a bowl of water on the hot side to bring humidity level up and see what happens w/ his tail shedding - it is supposed to help of which I can see since we advise to spray them when they are shedding to help w/ that - I think I will take it out tho at nite since levels rise at nite anyway --- any thoughts on this? I also see that pangeareptiles is now selling humidity chambers for dragons

IMO, useless.
Tails (especially on adults) tend to just take a long time to fully shed anyways. I've never once had to even mist my dragons to help them with shed. I think the issue is people get impatient and think it should happen quicker than it does; so methods are developed unnecessarily to speed it along.
Well I was thrown back by the statement she made about shedding and that they should shed everything at once --- that may be true in the wild but w/ everything I have seen that is not happening -- so I am going to experiment w/ it and see if it speeds it up -- right now his tail is white w/ the tip already shedded --- Hiccup hasnt shed in I dont know how long so to speak of --- he had a stache around his mouth in March --- that was it -- so other than that my dragons are doing great --- still waiting for Blaze to poop really Blaze ? I got the tube ready to go in
