How to clean cork bark?

I have a 2 ft piece of what I believe to be cork bark. It's what my beardie basks on. He was diagnosed with coccidia and a couple other parasites yesterday so I've taken everything out of his viv to disinfect. The bark has lots of crevices in it so I can't exactly spray it with anything. At least not effectively anyway. Can I bake it? Maybe soak it (in diluted bleach?) then rinse thoroughly? Or should I just toss it and buy a new one after the parasites are gone?

If you can fit it in the oven without it touching the heat elements , an hour at 250 should kill everything. Preheat the oven so the sterilizing starts right away in the high temp.
