How much to dust and how to teach it to eat salad?

Hi, I have a bearded dragon who is named Jupiter. Jupiter is about 4 month old and he is doing really well and he is extremely healthy but he has not been eating he is salads much and sometimes I feel like he is scared of the greens because when I try to hand feed him the greens he runs always and look at me like “what is he doing”! And another problem is the dusting feeders so I have a powder which is all in one and I was told to dust all his feeders with this and I tried getting more help and everything from the internet but there is none about the all in one powders! I wanted to know if it’s good and how much and how many times I need to use it! One more question, do I need to dust calci worms/phoenix worms/ BSFL?

I don’t know if all in one powders are good because it’s hard to change the portions of different dusting as needed with age. It may be annoying to do because you already have it but I highly recommend that you just get calcium with D3 and vitamin supplement however it’s up to you I just think it may be harder to get good portions of vitamin to calcium with D3. (But again if it’s working for you and your dragon and you have looked into this brand and it’s fine go for it) As for amount with bugs just put them in a plastic or paper cup with a little powder at the bottom and swirl the bugs till they are lightly coated. For salads I would say just pinch a little and lightly dust the top. Most people as far as I know don’t really measure you just put enough to very lightly dust the top of the salad really. Sorry to be so vague but there really is no define answer because it depends on size, age, bugs or salad, etc.. Teaching a dragon to eat salad can be very hard or very easy depending on how picky your dragon is but what I would do is leave a salad out for a while until it’s no longer fresh. Generally I leave mine out for 30min-1hour 30min and my dragon will typically eat some.(Tip- leave the room some young or new bearded dragons are shy eaters because it makes them feel exposed). I also suggest making very small salads so you can tell when it’s eaten at all. After you try your best with the salad then you can go ahead and feed bugs. Just to be clear I am a pretty new owner too but i had similar questions and these are what worked for me.

So much and yes today I decided to put a salad at the mornings when it’s hungry and I left the room to clean the fish tank in the other room then when I came back I saw it was eating a bit and another day I did think it ate a bit when I was gone and now I’m leaving home so I’ll leave the salad and see if it eats

Hi, I agree with Bioactive about the dusting. BTW,, are you in the U.K. or Australia ? I've never heard of the brand you are using . That's great that your dragon just now decided to eat some greens, just keep offering the salad out in the open in a place where he will notice it easily.

Australia ok thanks! And yea I have not seen it anywhere else except where I bought all my stuff for my reptile which was a reptile center they told me that this was the best and I took it to where I bought my bearded dragon and they said it’s fine u just need to dust their bugs with it
