I have two beardies who are both 10 months old and are 16" and 17".I have so far had them on cirkcets locusts and occasionally phoenix worms and wax worms as treats. Yesterday I went into my local pet shop and they had super worms in so today I've gave them about 10 crickets and 3 supers each. I was wondering if I were to keep them on crickets in the morning how many supers would be ok for them to eat each day?
Thanks.
If they are new to superworms, try not to feed them so much for now. Give them 1 or 2 a day so their digestive system gets used to the change of food. Once you notice that they are pooping regularly without problems then you can offer more superworms say about 3-7 worms after crickets. I wouldn't over-do it because supers are fatty and your beardie might decide he doesn't want crickets anymore and only supers which isn't such a good thing to happen. You will want to keep a mixed bug diet!
