How many insects should I give?

I think many people know that the ratio of insects to greenery for small dragons should be 80 to 20 percent, for adults 20 to 80.
The right proportion can be achieved by limiting the number of insects so that the dragon is more interested in greenery. Violation of proportions and overfeeding with insects can lead to liver problems and excess weight.
Can you share your experience on how you calculate how many insects should be given per feeding?
Usually I try to stop at the moment when Foxy thinks a little before grabbing another bug. And I know that after that he could eat about 1/3 more.

You are absolutely right.
I will finish the example with the PID association. Before brumation, Foxy refused greens and vegetables for a month and a half, i.e. the real proportion of 80:20 turned into 0:100, this looks to me like a serious loss of control over the diet. And if we turn to the association with PID, then I needed to make the maximum possible impact on the system. That is why I asked for advice so as not to make a mistake.
Now I have calmed down, thanks to all of you, I hope that after brumation such cardinal steps will not be required and Foxy and I will start with the correct proportion.
