It's been almost two weeks, I think. She started to where she'd eat at least a couple dubias, supers, some salad and silk/hornworms. Then she stopped eating dubias and superworms and now she won't even eat silkworms, but will eat hornworms. And she's been super dark and streaked up and we just can't figure it out. She does have a vet appointment Sunday, thankfully.Just be patient, she might have infertile eggs , you can't always feel them.
She's got good fatpads, thankfully. She's got a nice, thick tail and some pretty decent sized beardie boobs. She's 9ish months, like 20-21 inches and 637 grams. The thing we can't make sense of is even though she's not eating, she's still gaining weight. Like.. almost 15 grams every three or four days or so. That and what's making her so dark and streaked up all of the time.Hopefully she gets the all clear, it's pretty common for them to go off food now and then, i don't know if they get bored, or just don't need to eat as much or what. But i do know it's stressful for us. I've had several of mine go weeks at a time without eating more than 1 or 2 bugs per week. As long as they are healthy and have good fats stores it doesn't seem to have any negative effects on them.
We think toothless is part giant, he's huge too. And got huge fast. He's 22 inches and also 650 but he's big, not fat, if that makes sense. Nova is a chunk but Toothless is lean and just large. That is weird i wish i could explain it but i have no idea on that. She is a good size girl though, she is going to end up rivaling the males for size. Zen is 23-24 inches and over 1000 grams. My first and biggest beardie was Puff she was even bigger than Zen. I thought she was probably German giant but it was never confirmed.
