Yes, as the title stated, i want to know how I would go about giving dubia roach water. I've been giving them fresh greens and veggies everyday for moisture and so far they are doing fine. Will this work or do I need the water crystals?
Just so you guys know.... From my observation, my dubia loves fresh mixed veggies and greens I prepare for my iguana and bearded dragon. I put a good bunch in the dish for them and two days later they almost completely devoured them. Will this be enough moisture for them? They seem to be growing like weeds and I only have them for 3 days. Some are already 2/3 of an inch, growing from the size of pinky fingernail.
Yep, just using the fresh veggies and greens will be enough for them. They may still take extra water if you offered the crystals, but it wouldn't be necessary. The water crystals are just more convenient cause they last a day or two longer and don't mold like the veggies will.
I use water crystals. I got my dubia roaches from theroachguy.com. He is amazing to work with. I bought 200 in July and another 200 in August. I now have over 700 roaches and my beardie decided to go into brumation. I should have more than she can eat when she wakes up. The water crystals I believe are vital to their growth and health.
