How do i clip her nails?

Dexters nails are getting long and sharp. Seems very much that they need a trim.
How am i best going about this?
Normal nailclippers or do I need to buy some specialised ones?

Is she likely to fight against getting her nails clipped?

Any tips would be greatly appriciated.

I've never needed to, mine just normally wear down, I'm guessing because they are outside everyday. Anyway, a lot of people just use normal people nail clippers, just don't go up to the dark part of their nail or they will bleed.

Dex has no nails on one side of her body... so the other ones bizarrely seem to grow like crazy!
She has wood and only one actual bit of rock. She is also on sand. Would it be better to get some more rocks in there to help her wear them down?

In regards to "the dark bit" do you mean the dark line that runs on the top of each nail down to the tip? If so Im not sure how to trim them without cutting this line?

I'm rather in the same boat. So I'm hoping someone posts with an answer. I can't imagine it will go over well with Norbert. Even though he's on tile and bricks, his front nails are getting quite long. The backs are actually pretty good.
