Hornworms

I wanna start keeping hornworms an bulk at a time but when i buy them there small and wanna move them to something bigger so im making something but I have a couple questions. How do i make hornworm chow? or food? or what kinda fruit/veg will they eat? Also pleaseee what is this black ladder lookin thing so I can buy some!

It's kind of like mixing Repashy if you're familiar with it.
I believe you heat up the water and add in the hornworm chow.
Store in the fridge and serve to bugs when moist/hardened.
A beautiful display of bugs.

i know but i always read the reviews and a lot say they kill theres lol, i finally found that the black things are fence mesh but can i feed hornworms like any fruits or vegetables??

I don't think so.
It doesn't kill the Hornworms, it's their food.

And yes, you can feed off hornworms, but I would feed them maybe 2 a day sounds good.

I believe you use cold water with the Hornworm chow now that I'm thinking about it.

EDIT:
The ladder looks like Mesh and yes you can buy it.
Let me see if I can link you to the plastic mesh
I can't find it.
Just look for plastic mesh and see if you can cut it.

If you can staple the mesh to the bottom and then you can add the 'finished chow'.
Just what people do.
