My adult dragon is a very fussy eater, and at the moment is very happy eating lots of hoppers. What I want to know is, how nutritious are they? I add calcium/vitamins to their veg anyway, but have a suspicion that the hoppers might be fatty? anyone any idea?
They are alot meatier than crickets, So i guess there better for them..
And you don`t need to feed them as much as crickets ..
But i don`t think there fatty..
From what I've researched, locusts are slightly more nutritious than crickets. Also, the size difference helps.
Best bit as far as I'm concerned is that they don't creep me out as much as crickets. And Dex needs no encouragement to eat locusts. He wasn't too fond on crickets.
