This is what Taco doe when we have a cloudy day or two:
Stays in this cave (he's now preferring this one for sleeping), and pancakes in there.
(It's a usual behavior for him, but now I was able to capture it nicely for the first time.)

He seems to be very comfortable there! On cloudy days he doesn't come out to warm up at all?

No, depending on the weather he doesn't come out for up to 2 days. He then pancakes but in his cave (light from one basking lamp reaches in) - was round like a saucer

The photo was from yesterday. Today it's a day that starts very sunny. I bet today he comes out, climbs up and eats.

(Temperatures in the enclosure are fine. I check 2 times a week especially when the season changes - here, summer begins.)

Just a follow-up on the "doesn't come out to warm up at all":
Taco was now away for 3 days and a half, staying in that cave and pancaking during some hours each day.
Now happily basking high up, ate his veggies (he started with the golliwog plant, then I put in other veggies) and some insects with great appetite.

He does this sometimes, depending on the weather.

Had planned to show him over Zoom during the last group meeting (colleagues from the campus here but we're working from home right now*), but he was away... now he's back and during the next Zoom meeting I will show him if he wants to come out of his enclosure

*not COVID, it's a different reason why we are working from home
