Hey so this is figgy, asking about my 6 and 1/2 inch beardie.. (measured from tip of nose to tip of tail) idk how old they are, idk gender, petsmart didn't say anything all I am wondering is what insect is the best to feed, how many a day, and when to powder.. I'm getting there yall!

At 6 1/2 inches it's very young.
Feed the smallest (baby) dubias, black soldier fly larvae are fantastic for babies. Very small hornworms are great for hydration.
feed him 2 to 3 times per day in the beginning. 10 to 15 insects per feeding.
Dust with calcium every day. 1 time per day.
Dust with a multivitamin 2 to 3 times per week. Also just 1 time on those days. Personally i mix my calcium and multivitamins 50/50 on vitamin day.
Don't make the bugs look like a powered donut. Just a very light dusting is good.

you can't base age off of length only. i rescued sir henry of scales at 6 months old, and he was the length of a hatchling. it is better to record length/width and then compare over time.
