i thought it was rubbish you potentially didnt have a reptile specialist nearby its amazing how many pet stores over the years ive seen change from dog and cat etc to dog cat and reptile, but i stand corrected
Yeah theres a few great reptile specialists in my area (newcastle) but they're limited on food- a bit silly really considering they deal with reptiles, think they'd have more choice  Just noticed i put locusts and crickets in my list of 'unavailable' foods, whoops: they're available all over lol- my brain has stopped working- hard day at work. I've edited my original post
We are new to all of this, but I found a fantastic website where we purchased most of the supplies we needed. After researching for over two weeks and reading everything in sight I loved how this guy has videos on the page for most of the supplies being sold. There is something better about watching him describe a ceramic heat emitter versus just reading about it in books and online references!! For this being a first reptile experience I loved seeing and hearing about the products. His prices I found were the best for almost everything we needed too. Great customer service, and for us we placed our order Monday and had it by Wednesday with just regular shipping. http://www.bigappleherp.com
When you get a chance, you could added beardeddragon.co as a source for supplies. (I know it's through Rio Reptiles, but since Yellow Room Reptiles, where I got Wave, is also part of it, I like to plug it!) They've got great stuff at great prices, and ship super quickly.
