Help!?

I was watching YouTube and I felt this brush on my hand.. looking over a HORNWO4M was crawling up my charger... turns out i also left my horn worm container open when i looked at it... does anyone know have any advice in case more are out... (holding the lil guy rn... i think he thinks i'm food...)

Probably going to put hi back... hes hungry or is just trying to scare me (it keeps nipping my hand)

Do you remember how many were in the container ? Just keep an eye out for them, they couldn't have gone too far.

Good thing they are almost neon blue lol. Shouldn't be too hard to spot if you look

Oh they bite for sure.

Yeah.... Turns out he thought I was just a big gigantic edible snack? The moment I put him back he began eating.... And I had shown him his elder...

I just really now want to start a moth army and want to let the one that got out live.... Somehow very much became affectionate toward it in the 4 minutes I held him...

That's why I don't do snakes. They would become vegetarian and I'd have a bunch of pet mice lmao

The thing with becoming affectionate also happens to me - just because I used to keep many insects as pets when I was a kid. But I also had reptiles I had to feed insects.
I always try to care for my feeder insects as good as possible.
I'm sure I'd be fine with feeding mice, also live ones, to snakes (despite I'm myself a vegetarian and very much a "I wanna help this little guy" person). Btw.: Is feeding with live mice allowed where you live? Because you mention "bunch of pet mice". I'd guess so as frozen mice won't become pets

I used to really like mice. They were cute. Then one transmitted a disease to my favorite horse in the world, Clyde. I learned to ride a horse on Clyde. He had been my buddy since I was a tiny thing. Sadly, last year Clyde passed away. He knelt down in the cleaning stall where he was getting groomed and started bleeding from his ears. RIP Clyde. @xp29

Yeah, live rodents are ok here. If I had snakes I wouldn't feed frozen it just seen to unnatural. The rodents deserve to live, but the snake deserves to be natural also. They do hunt by heat signature after all.

A lot of snake keepers feed frozen/thawed because of the fear of the rodent attacking their snake. Being in a closed space with no escape they can inflict serious bites, or they can hide and really chew a snake up at night.
But yeah, I'm in camp mouse/rat is now pet.
