I own 2 bearded dragons everything is fine these are baby dragons by the way before I state anything but my baby bearded dragon bit a hole in the other and everything was fine before I was just confused on why this happened they have been housed together since I got them and they haven't really fought each other only laying on each other's back

Dragons should be housed separately--- please get them separated as soon as possible or your going to have more injuries or one dead---- please post a pic of the injury so we can help w/ some medical advice

He's dead I came in too late by the time I separated them all I saw was the hole at first then I picked him up to inspect him and his whole side split open

I mean he is still breathing and moving his head but he can't move and his spine is hanging out

That is terrible - please ask questions about your dragons care- surface basking temps and uvb are crucial to the health of the dragon- where did you get the dragons from - were they from the same clutch?

Can you take him to an emergency vet?

They were from the same clutch and these are home bred beardies they were raised together and have been contained together since hatching

I don't think so no vet is open nearby at this time of night 11:07pm

Hello,

Wow, that has to hurt.
Try to get him to a vet if possible. If you have some antibiotic ointment, try to gently pack it with the
ointment & if you can, wrap some gauze around the body with the ointment in the wound.
Try to keep him comfortable & keep him separated from other dragons. Let us know how he is doing.
