I’m honestly not sure what it’s called but they said it is a pain and anti inflammatory. He seemed more awake after getting his second dose so maybe he’s sleepy from the pain and the stress. I’m only giving it every other day. I’m amazed the doc hasn’t called back and I’ve even called again. I’m pretty upset about it but just hoping he just needs time for his arm and the doctor doesn’t matter at this point. Thanks for the prayers, it’s truly a miracle so far!
Sorry the vet hasn't called back. I am just glad that he seems to be doing well after this type
of incident. I agree, he is very lucky thus far.
How is he doing today, any improvements?
Keep us posted on his progress.
The doctor finally called snd said his arm was working at the time of her exam. She said she could send out the X-rays and that it would be an extra $180 or she could see him again at the end of the week. She had me send in a video to her and a picture of the yellow urate just in case. He’s still not using it but he is eating his crickets with my help so that’s good. I’m hoping he just starts using it one day after getting some rest. I’m not sure I can post videos but if I can I will put it up to see what you guys think. Thanks!
That is good to hear he did eat some crickets. Hopefully his arm will heal up & that there
isn't anything broken either. Definitely let us know how he progresses & if you can post
a little video for us too.
Be sure to keep his basking area a little lower so that he doesn't have to climb too much &
hurt it worse.
Stewy is doing so much better! He is eating well and just started using his arm. He just finished his last dose of meds and he’s still got some yellow urate we’re trying to figure out but otherwise he’s doing great. Thanks for all the help it really was such a blessing. Here’s happy Stew!
