Hello, Merry Christmas, hope you had a great day. The uric acid is a little higher than what I like to see, but, not terrible. Does he seem to have any swelling? The calcium to phosphorus ratio is good so I doubt he has any calcium issues right now or any trouble absorbing any calcium. Could he be dehydrated at all? The uric acid levels can be elevated for a number of reasons from dehydration, too much protein taxing the kidneys, genetics, poor calcium absorption due to inadequate UVB. You could be proactive & start giving black or tart cherry juice extract to help out with the kidneys in case he might be having some trouble. I'm glad to hear that the benebac has been helping him out right now! Let us know how he is doing. Tracie
