Hello,

It sounds like her body was definitely fighting a condition for sure. At least she had a good immune
system & didn't have a major infection going on yet. She definitely wanted to stick around with you!
Do keep us updated on her progress, we all love pictures.

Hello,

Don't forget to post new pictures of your girl, when you get a chance! I hope she is feeling
much better.

Tracie
I posted some photos in photo expressions! She does seem to be feeling a lot better, though her left arm does still seem limp from the injections (i gave the last one two days ago, she gets another today). I hope it will heal, here are some pics!

We went for 2 week recheck this morning. Charlie is doing great still. Her last injection is tonight, then just a few days left of the oral antibiotics. She's very keen on food still and pooping daily or 2nd daily.

Her arm is getting some mobility back too. It went limp after a shot on Wednesday but seems to be getting better now. I think this might have happened twice back to back, first the emergency vet then with me but she's seemed to have recovered in both instances, I will avoid that arm for the last injection tonight 😅

She weighed 368 when we left the vet 2 weeks ago and weighed 390 this morning. The vet did a good feel of her tummy and found no issues. Charlie really bounced back incredibly from this, I'm in awe of her resilience 😁 her fat pads are full and round and her tail looks good. We might try to take the stitched out after next month but we will revisit at end of May.

Thanks again everyone here for the help and support! If I didn't act and get onto the advice here we might not have had such a good outcome!

She finished all antibiotics and is still sturdy as ever!

She's starting to shed on her beard though 😆

Hello,

That's great to hear she is doing well! I hope her beard sheds soon, I'm sure it is itchy for her.

Been over one month- Charlie is doing great. She's up to 410g now and thriving. Gonna wait it out a little longer to get the stitches out. Her appetite is strong and she seems happy 😊

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
