HELP!!! (roaches)

Once before I started a Dubia colony and had great success with it. Unfortunately, I left them out in the garage over the winter and they all died. I just got a new shipment in the mail today to get another colony started. They look great, however, I seem to have some rather precocious nymphs who are climbing the walls of the Rubbermaid container. :shock: I specifically chose Dubias because they don't climb well and I never caught one from my old colony trying to climb the walls. As soon as I put these buggers in the container the littles started heading up the sides. I tried putting cooking oil about halfway up and they just trucked right on through it.

What do I do??? How can I keep them from climbing and getting out?

If the sides aren't completely smooth the little ones will climb it. Jason, theroachguy, suggest to me to put packing tape around the container. I did one row closer to the bottom, and then a row of tape up towards the top(above the egg crate tops) and they can't get past the slick tape. Worked great.

The one and only way to keep them off the sides. I second this and use it on all my colonies.
