Those are good temps --- please lay off the bathing -- it stresses them out when so young and she doesnt need bathing that often - unless shes pooping all over herself I would not bath for now --- offer the water dripped on her nose once a week -- let her adjust to her tank and surroundings does she have stress marks on her stomach?
She does when we turn on her light and if my husband picks her up but with me it’s okay but the turning on the light is what stresses her. But they go away quickly once she knows she is safe.so with the temps outside only do 15 minutes ? Cause I can normally do that when I get off of work and let her do that. 🙂 I took her outside before and she loved it.

With those temps she can stay out longer like 30 minutes -- I just dont want you to lose her - she should not be getting stress marks from the light being turned on - do they go away after they have been on for awhile? Turn the UVB off -- can you show me a pic of that bulb please

I will take a pic of it when I get home, and yes after it’s been on for awhile it goes away the stress marks on her. And should I turn the uvb off when I get home ? And I’ll definitely do 30 minutes for outside definitely ! How do I know when it’s time to go back in? She usually opens her mouth every 5 minutes being out and held just in the living room or running around having free roam.

This is the uvb bulb and then the other picture is the one I am recommended to get? Are the numbers right for the 40 gallon tank, just want to make sure it’s in my list for whenever I get paid and can get it for both of my beardies 🙂🙂

Poop looks ok -- the extra liquid just means she's hydrated - shut the coil off - the long tube is the one you need
Okay! And I just fed her again and used the calcium dust on the superworms and dubia roaches and she seems to eat the dubia ones pretty good, slowly but as long as I’m not looking at her she will sooner or later. I hope this gets her what she needs as well to feel more better. Not sure what else I can give her that she likes cause maybe the superworms are too much for her maybe… I think she ate 4 dubia roaches so far in a matter of 5 minutes.

Ok that's good make sure she has 2-3 hrs of basking time-- this will start the digestion and the uvb is what helps her absorb / synthesize the calcium - that's why the coil is no good it does not do that but the sun will

Hello,

How is your dragon doing?
The small superworms should be ok for her to eat, as long as she can chew them properly.
The long tube bulb will be much better for her, the UVB is stronger than the compact/coil type
of UVB. As Karrie was explaining, the type of wavelength put out by the compact/coil is inferior
to the tube bulb & that is what helps promote D3 synthesis & helps vitamin & calcium absorption.
I hope she is doing well!

She doesn’t like the superworms, I put them to her face and she sticks her head up or ignores them, now the dubia roaches she works eyeball them and eat those but slowly at a time and I also couldn’t watch her eat them otherwise she wouldn’t, is it possible to have a picky eater maybe ? Or a slower eater where it takes every given free time for me to be there to see how many see eats? When I would first get her she only would eat 6-7 bugs and call it quits and saw her go to her salad very rare occasions. Now I haven’t seen her go to the salad but I also cannot see what she’s doing during the time I’m at work. And yes I will definitely get the other uvb when I get paid cause I want her to have everything she needs, she absolutely loves me and what I said before I want what’s best for this little girl, she’s just a snuggle bug and doesn’t deserve the worst possibility to happen.

Its fine if she doesnt like the super worms - they are a treat worm anyway and the dubias are a staple feeder - please get some BSFL they are great for babies and used as lures to the salad bowl - did I post than info for you? she should be getting fed 2-3 times per day -- offer the salads and put them in the bowl as well - they wont be able to get out w/ a bowl w/ a lip on it - I would start w/ 10 in the morning on the salads - then when you get the BSFL use those and use 20-25 of them at time - then feed the dubias after about a 1 hr or so in the salad bowl - silk worms work good they stick to everything and another good staple feeder -- it will give her variety along w/ small horn worms - they are a good hydrating worm - please ask if you need more help

Where do I get the BSFL? Is that at petco or where can I get really good bugs at, I normally just order from petco and get the bugs from there and they don’t have a really good option of stuff And I was going to get the horn worms before but they are so massive I’m afraid that big worms will be bad for them cause that’s what they told me too before.

I posted the website for the BSFL on the first page along w/ a link to a bowl and the nutrition website - good website for roaches and horn worms www.dubiaroaches.com
