Help Please! Gravid dragon basking. Won’t dig. Sunken fat pads. Keeps making lower movements.

She has been basking all day. She won’t dig. She keeps making sharp movements near her butt and pelvis. I can’t tell if she is adjusting or not. She won’t eat today. Her fat pads have been looking sunken since she started running. I thought it was from shedding. But, today her tail fat pads don’t look so great either. I’m very confused.

She just pooped an egg came out too.
I syringed 6 ml of reptaboost in her mouth. Which should be all she needs for the day. At least if she wasn’t gravid. I gave her a bath earlier. She drank water in it. She only stayed in there for 3 minutes though. Now I’m just letting her rest I. The basking like she wants. Im hoping to bring her to the vet tomorrow.

Hello, I was giving her some reptaboost and she ate a tiny piece of the tip of the syringe. Is that ok?

Hello, I I’ve been trying to give her more reptaboost. But, have been finding it difficult. Because she cracked another syringe. She didn’t eat that one. And also she keeps climbing out of the towel I have her in. She had 6 ml today. Should I keep working on giving her more? I don’t want to stress her out.

Ok, do you mean syringes in general. Or that syringe. Because I realized it would probably be easier to break. So I change it out. But, the syringes I have now are thinner. I was thinking about trying to use a dropper as a syringe instead. Because I read that the bigger they are the more control I can have with it.

I was going to do that. But, since she won’t eat the crickets. I thought she probably wouldn’t eat that either. But, I still wanted to try.

I sprayed her butt with water instead of doing a bath. Since she just jumped right out of the bath. Then, she went and pooped afterward. So I think it worked. Moisture wise the poop was ok. But, it weirdly was like a poop bubble.

She ate 2 crickets in the morning. She didn’t want anything since. Maybe it will work if she gets hungry again.

Hello, I tried the hornworm she didn’t want it. Then, I tried to give her water in the syringe. I gave her about 8-9 ml. She drank it as I put it on her tongue. I’m not sure how much she got in. But, I’m hoping half.

I agree with AHBD, she is probably very close to laying which is why she wont eat much of anything.
Try to be patient & let her relax enough to get situated. Keep us posted!

Hello, how many hornworms can she have a day? I gave her 2 this morning which she ate. She hasn’t wanted anymore. But, I was wondering if I can try some later.

Hello, she was supposed to get the medicine today. But, since she was eating hornworms. And the bet said she visually looked better. He decided it would be ok to wait till Monday. He is going to consult an associate who is more of an expert. To determine whether to give the oxytocin or whether it would be better to let her lay them herself. He said he didn’t want to give medicine if she was headed in the right direction. He thinks it would be better if she was able to do it herself. I’m a bit worried. Because I don’t want her to suddenly get worse. Since she is only better by a little bit. She still isn’t running or digging. And the vet isn’t open on Sunday.

Well there's no way to determine what condition that Cole and her eggs are in but you still have to be patient while the vet decides what he will do.
