We recent rescued our beardie & we immediately got him a new enclosure (4x2x2) with an Arcadia HO t5 12% for uvb & we are currently using the dual heat and uvb for heating only. It is 75 watts. We did get him a new basking rock that sets up high, I’ll have to measure how far it is from the uvb and heat, but my husband noticed this spot in his back yesterday and it seems worrisome to me.
I’m not sure if it could be yellow fungus or possibly a burn? His basking rock measured 110 earlier when I temped it. He’s still eatting great, moving around and acting normal other then I did notice tonight that when I touched it while he was sleeping he moved as if maybe it hurts.
Please help, I only want the best for our little guy. I will be setting up a vet visit but only 2 vets around me see bearded dragons and they’re only in a day or two out of the week for a short time
I also added a picture of his belly.
To the eye it doesn’t have any yellow to it but with my camera, especially in the light, it does.
Also should add HE IS IN SHED.
