He is extremely adorable, I got him yesterday from petsmart..He is extremely tiny (month and a half i guess)
He will eat crickets, but not that many.
He will ocasionally lick his mustard greens and beardie food but will not eat it!
He hates baths and is scared of them...
how do i handle all of this ???
he does love to cuddle though lol
-Stressed beardie mom
p.s. he does not have any stress marks and has very bright colours so im guessing he is happy
Hi there....he will have relocation stress for a while and a reduced appetite is normal. Be SURE that the crickets are very small, no longer than the length between his eyes, very important. Keep offering the very finely shredded greens and spritz them with water , if he licks them he might take a bite at some point. Baths aren't necessary for babies, you can hydrate him by dripping/spraying [ very light, direct stream ] on his snout to get him to drink. Drip, stop, repeat [ so he realizes it's a drink ] with a syringe, eyedropper or spray bottle. He should settle in after a couple of weeks.
