I was getting the feeder crickets when I realized there was a dead cricket (rotting with bad smell) on the floor, my bearded dragon (8 months) likes to hangout with me while I get his food. Then I realized the rotting dead cricket was suddenly gone and my bearded dragon was CHEWING then I realized he ATE IT. What should I do??? I'm afraid he could get food poisoning because the dead cricket smelt horrendous. What should I do????
Well, he probably wont get food poisoning but he likely didn't appreciate the taste. It's possible it
might upset his tummy. You can get some activated charcoal into him to detoxify his system. How
is he acting right now, is his beard normal color or did it turn gray or darker in color?
There wasn't any poison which caused the cricket to die, correct?
