I just got a new bearded dragon on Friday its a baby dragon and i have some concerns. I noticed once i brought it home its toes were bent up and appear stiff and have a some red on them which appear to be blood.
I bought him from a store which in my opinion is dirty and smells, but i gave it a chance. I have 4 days left now to return it should i want to. But i'm really concerned something is wrong with him because of how the store presents itself and because he is being really lazy and doesn't really eat much unless its right in front of him.
I'm having very strong mixed feelings on whether or not I should keep him or bring him back and tell them that I feel like something is wrong and get a new one. I already have grown kinda attached and don't want to replace him but I would prefer to have one that is healthy and doesn't have issues like the toes being bent and stiff. Please help.
Could you please tell us about your set up including temps, UVB bulb (type and brand) substrate used and what you are feeding. Pictures of the tank and the dragon, especially his toes would also be helpful.

Thank you for your interest but i actually went back to the pet store and they said something about treating it for swollen limbs. But they said i could look at a different one if i wanted to, which i did. When they put my original one back in the tank within minutes it was fighting with another one over food and then they agreed why its hand was like that. I just got a new one and it appears healthy and the lady at the pet store gave me a basking light and some more tips. I feel bad that i just traded him away though
