Does anyone know where I can get a dubia breeding kit? I want to start breeding dubia but I don't want to pay a lot of money to start breeding. It seems a lot easier to breed them than with crickets that I'm currently feeding my beardie. I already have a container, heating pad, food and water gels from the crickets so all I need is male and female dubia to start breeding them.
we're selling colonies 50 females 20 males and 300-500 mixed sizes, can feed off it right away. for $80 shipped including a heat pack, have an ad in the for sale section

Hey i got my dubia roaches from west coast roaches on facebook. they have auctions and i won 50 females and 20 males for $40. they have all sorts of auctions from feeders to breeding kits.
80 bucks is expensive? we were spending 35 bucks a week on one dragon, 80 bucks wouldn't even feed ours for three weeks just buying feeders, we started with the same colony from buydubiaroaches.com , we paid $137 plus shipping for the same colony. as patrickmb21 said, the adults alone are worth more than 40 bucks, and you're not buying 500 mixed sizes for 40 bucks anywhere, and west coast roaches sex their nymphs before selling them. when you buy feeders from most, thats all you get, is feeders, not breeders.. our mix is a true mix of both sexes from newborn to molting adult, so they could possibly molt to an adult in the shipping, and yes, these are fresh females pulled from our grow bin, not our breeder bin. they're most likely gravid.
well, they give live birth to 20-40 nymphs. so basing it on 30 nymphs, 50 females can have 1500 babies a month, so thats averaging 375 nymphs a week,, also, the mixed sizes you'd get with the colonies would also be molting to adults adding more females to the mix, we started with this same colony a year ago, we have nine dragons, and two leos, we feed all our animals, friends animals, we sell local feeders for pick-up. and colonies online. the dubias pay for everythign we need for the reptiles, it made our reptile hobby self sustaining. we have no money out of pocket for lights, food, enclosures, ect... though this time, we're getting funds for vet costs for a rescue. a picture of him in the for sale section
well I guess since 500 nymphs are included, It's a good price. But I won't have the money for them until the end of next month, and I saw that you only have four colonies. Is there any way that you can hold them or something? I promise that I will buy them at the end of next month.
i read correctly, thats why i said over 40 bucks, you got a steal, i've seen 200 baby nymphs go for 70 bucks in a blood bank auction. and really it was only like 10 bucks worth of bugs, i even left a comment on the auction page about spending 70 bucks for one feeding
