BSFL is great for beardys, and it’s good that you took the water dish out if he starts to act weird or not poop for a while take him to the vet, just have to watch out for that because if he’s pooping bits of the water dish out they could lead to impaction but if he’s pooping them out that’s a good sign, the BSFL eat vegetables scrapes/ or just some carrot ( that’s what I was feeding mine anyway)
Got me wondering on the pig poop as diet. Im not sure if its okay for bearded dragons, the farmer said he feed his bsfl to his chickens and pigs

Yeah I’m not sure either. That’s why I gave up on BSFL because the farmers feed them animal waste here too. Do you have access to silkworms? They are a great feeder.

Why did you gave on bsfl? Do they smell bad?
No the smell was ok. I just discovered that almost all of them are raised to process animal waste and compost. The thought of feeding my bearded dragon that wasn’t very appealing to me. I guess different parts of the world just deal with BSFL differently. If you can find BSFL raised on clean veggies that’s great.

Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
