Help! Beardie ate a random weed

Hello! So I took my 2.5 year old beardie out for some son and all of a sudden he chomped down on this plant growing out of my (dead—I’m in California) lawn. I’m attaching a photo of the weed. I have a feeling it’s probably okay but I just need to make sure. It has little fuzzy hairs on it

Do you have a picture of a larger (more mature) version of that plant? It would be easier to identify that way. At least for me lol.

I couldn’t find one but I’m going to head back out right now and double check.

This is the only other one I could find. It’s very small and just very weed-like. With a thick-ish stem

Sorry, after responding to your thread I drove like 30 seconds down the road and saw billions of that same weed lol. It's likely horseweed or hairy fleabane. Look up pictures online and see if they match what you see in your yard. From what I can see, they don't really pose an issue. Typically, if a plant is poisonous, you'll see signs in your dragon within half an hour.

I agree, your dragon will be fine! They can definitely worry us to death & are so quick to
eat something off of the floor or ground.
