Hi all! I have been a member for a tiny while, but never fully introduced myself or my beardie! I am Samantha, and I am the proud owner of Spike, my "male" bearded dragon. We have brought Spike to the vet before, and they've never been able to fully sex or age him. We've been told he is most likely a female, due to his small size, but the vet wasn't 100% sure.
Anyway, I came into possession of Spike in September 2022. He was given to me by my neighbor, and was named by her kid son (I never felt right changing his name, and I swear Spike knows it and responds sometimes). Spike has been so strong while we upgraded his tank from a 10 gallon to a 40 gallon; we also had to change all of his lighting and diet.
Since I've had Spike, he's lived a relatively quite life. Aside from sustaining a hand injury (which healed), he's been living his best life as my little buddy! I can't say I know a lot about bearded dragons, but I am always looking things up and trying to learn new things!

the head looks female to me. I'll post a picture of how to sex them. Be careful not to burn the tailbwith the light though.
