I want to get my beardie a 150w with a dimmer because his hot side has been a little cold with just 100w- I want to get a halogen flood Arcadia heat lamp like I have now, but I can’t find any 150w?
Does Arcadia have a good 150w dimmable heat lamp? If so can you post a link?
Thanks so much!

Arcadia has a 150w version of their wide/flood basking bulb - RSBF150, but I'm only seeing it in the 240v version. This can be used, but requires a step up converter if your outlets are the 120v US outlets. Extra cost up front, but they work pretty well. Aside from that, I've found that different brands and styles tend to produce a wide range of heat outputs so it may also be worth testing some different brands of the same wattage to see if anything else works better for your setup. I've had good luck using Westinghouse BR40 incandescent bulbs from the hardware store, though these are getting harder to find as time goes on. Keep in mind that while these tend to handle dimming, you don't want to rely on that for more than minor adjustments since you want to light to stay as bright as possible while putting off heat. If you have the space, you might also consider installing a second light side by side or use a heat projector bulb that would increase basking temps while allowing you to easily dim or cut output without making any visible changes since those are completely infrared. They're great to use at night but also work well as supplementary heat for a main basking bulb. Another advantage of using multiple basking lights is that you can increase the diameter of the basking zone which can allow for more even basking and increased temperature options.

Hey! I'm planning on ordering a 4x2x2 for my next beardie but I'm worried about lighting. I have a UVA and a UVB but they are small (the UVA just being a bulb and the UVB being 12 ish inches?) My house is drafty so I need a strong light that puts off quite a good amount of heat, any suggestions?
