hi my bearded dragon is 5 years old. He is acting weird since Friday. He ate food Friday. And now he doesn’t eat. I think acting sleepy. He lay down so much but in the sun. He has black beard sometimes but his body is always so bright. So ı don’t understand him. He is pooping evetyday by the way.

He may ne wanting to go into brumation. If your unsure of his health a vet visit before hand might be a good idea.

I am thinking about that too but it is still so soon. He is brumating in November. And he isn’t hiding.

I've got 1 that is completely down right now, he's been in deep sleep for over a week now. But at 5 y.o. you know your dragon if it's to early for brumation maybe a vet check-up is in order.

He pooped 3 times today just a little bit. And he lay down like this. Especially after ı touch him. I researched but ı didn’t find anything about this posture. I think that he is stressed about something but ı can’t help him. I closed his terrarium glass so he can be alone. I don’t wanna disturb him.

Please get rid of both of those bulbs--- this is what you need ASAP--
basking bulb either a Flukers basking bulb you can get them from Walmart here is the website
start w/ these Robot or human? or this wattage but you will need a digital probe thermometer to get the correct surface basking temp 95-100 Robot or human? or you can get Exo Terra Intense basking or Arcadia Halogen
you need one good long tube fixture for UVB please get a 24" fixture for a 40 + gallon tank
this comes w/ a 5.0 bulb you need a Reptisun 10.0 T 5 Zoo Med ReptiSun T5 HO Terrarium Hood (24 inch)

Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 UVB Fluorescent T5 HO Bulb (22", 24 Watt)

What size tank is the dragon in? Does he have a hide? He needs more decor in the tank - why is there a blanket on top of the tank? What is the temp in the tank?

The blanket helps prevent heat loss. Yes he has hide spot. 33 degrees

Ok surface basking temps should be 95-100F taken w/ digital probe thermometer- please get your uvb changed out your dragon is getting sicker w/ the improper temps and uvb this is crucial
