I've noticed not so long ago when i was feeding my Beardy a cricket that she started to shake her head as if having a siezure but only on her head. She did this for about 2 secs i read this can be MBD but i dont see why she would have it since i have her enclosure just right as far as Light distance and temps.Everything is fine in her Viv,she acts normal and active more so when she eats. She gets daily baths and put out in the outdoor enclosure for about an hour everyday, I dust her crickets 5 times a week.Maybe this just happens once in a while first time for me im hoping its normal when she did do it she was staring down a cricket about to eat it.Any advice, thanks.
I'm not 100% sure, but she could have done it because she was excited and gone into "hunting mode".
When my beardie had MBD, he did not act active at all. He was lethargic and pretty much just sat there. If your beardie is active and you have the proper UVB light, then she probably does not have MBD.
Yea thats what i thought too,I was hoping other owners expierenced the same during feeding time once in awhile. It's a first hopefully the last i just hate to see it, like i still hate to see her eye buldge even though it's perfectlly normal haha. Thanks!
