He ate a pebble.

Làsko was sitting with me on my bed while I was reading whenever he decided to jump off my bed . When I went to go pick him up and set him back down with me he ran to my shoes and it just so happened a pebble was stuck in it and it fell out when I took them off. He saw the pebble and freaking ate it before I could pick him up. The nearest herp vet is 5 hours away. Is anyone near enough to one or know one that can tell me if he will be okay? It wasn't a big one at all, I just know he can't digest that and I don't want him to be impacted. Treatments? Thanks in advance!

Hi there....how big is Laska ? If he's not a baby, and the stone was small then it will probably pass through on it's own. You might feed him small meals and give a bit of baby food squash or canned pumpkin. That will help move things along and it should come through O.K.

He's pretty big. Haha last time I checked I think he was 14". I will do that and see how that works. Thank you!
