Okay so I ordered 300 extra small reptiworms(phoenix worms) and she wont touch them. I tried dropping a couple in and she looks at them but doesnt even attempt to eat them.So I tried dropping in a dubia nymph and she promptly chowed it down ignoring the reptiworm.I then tried dropping a very small mealie on top of the reptiworm and she ate the mealworm but still wouldnt touch the reptiworm(and they were wiggling and crawling around).
(also I dont feed mealworms but thought id try and trick her)
So what is up with that, I thought they were supposed to love these things. What do I do with 300 of them now? Is there a way to get her eating them? She even eats greens. Anyway I gave in and let her have her crickets(she will be two weeks old tomorrow)
Well I got him to eat a couple of the reptiworms today.I waited to feed him for a bit and he was hungry.
The mealies are for leopard geckos, and yes the leos can eat them but the reptiworms are the extra smalls so its kind of a waste to feed them to the leos till the worms grow bigger. Not sure if I can keep them alive that long.
