I have been on this website for a while, but I still have not posted any pics. Now that I have figured it out I will be posting more pics. These pics are of Harley (BD) and My Golden Greek Tortoise: Spike. I still need to post pics of our other beardie Buddy, but he lives with my fiance's parents. When we do visit him we usually do not have a camera with us. I promise to get more pics soon.
I love sitting on the back of the couch and looking out the window!
I am such a big boy!
Yup, I'm still looking out the window.
This is our Golden Greek Tortoise.
I just have to eat my lettuce this way it taste better!
Soon I will make a big enough hole in this lettuce, so I can walk through it just watch!
Thanks to everyone who replied to my post! Spike is a full adult. He is almost five years old, and will not get any bigger. That is one reason why we chose the Golden Greek Tortoise because they are a smaller Tortoise, and I do not have to room for a huge Tortoise. Yes, Harley and Spike are my little babies even if they are big. They will always be my babies. Thanks again.
Wow!!! Harley is a big boy...I love his colors. He looks very content sitting up there looking out the window. I bet he is a sweetie!! Spike is cute looking through the hole in his lettuce!! Does he always start in the middle and work his way out?
Sometimes, but not all the time. It is funny because he will not eat his lettuce if it is ripped up in little pieces and put it in a bowl. It has to be the whole piece of lettuce.
Spike has a 75 gallon tank. He will be moving into a little over a 100 gallon tank that we are building. It will be two tanks with Harley on top and Spike on the bottom. Both tanks will be a little over 100 gallons. The tanks are almost finished I just need to buy new lights for it. Sorry about the mess in the tank. Spike always is messing up his tank by scooting around.
100 gallons!!!! WOW! I wish I was your pet! Harley is a handsome boy. I love my baby but can't wait to see how he will look as an adult. Spike is handsome also. I have a friend who has a huge tortoise that walks all over the place. Her dog wants to play with it so bad but he just keeps on walking.... so funny. Will your fiances beardie come live with you eventually? Another 100 gallon tank??
LOL, I love how Spike is peeking out through the lettuce. That's a great photo. Harley looks really relaxed and happy - obviously a pair of spoiled pets!
No my fiance's beardie will not come live with us because his parents fell in love with him. I could never split them up. My fiance's beardie (Buddy) loves them too, and he would probably get pretty upset if he had to move. We visit Buddy every weekend. Yes, are critters are very spoiled just like everybody else's critters on this web-site.
Spike is the perfect size for me. They are so much fun to have. Spike is a little shy at first every time I pull him out of the cage, but then he perks right up, and scoots around the house.
