But seriously, I may not spend this holiday with Rocky but I am grateful for him and all of you.

So I took a paper towel and dropped water on Rocky's nose yesterday...I had about 2 minutes of time with him. He had enough, put his head in the position to safe his life then left me.
When I cut the lights on this morning, his eyes were bright- we looked at each other than within the minute, he retreated. Like a fool, I'm hopeful...maybe next year...thank goodness the next year is almost here!
