Thats the tallest I could get its 15 inches I could loosen and the string to lower it a bit like the 2nd pic I posted. I am thinking of getting a solid slab of rock to rise the basking spot or maybe this will work.

Yes raising the basking decor would be good- you need to either lower the uvb or raise the basking decor for the T 8 12-15 is too high for the T 8

Oh sorry no no no its a 12% Arcadia T5 bulb/fixture/kit. Chubbs stretched out hes about 12-14 from the bulb Amber is about 13-15 depending where she may be basking

Nope side by side I may do it if they where both females and/or young hatchlings. Chubbs is 5 Amber is almost 2 only time they interact is when I take both of them out together at the same time

Ok I would not do that unless you want babies -- it can happen in a split second we hear about this all the time

They are never unsupervised I either leave 1 out and put the other back in if I need to do anything or take 1 with me
