As the title says, what is the meaning behind your handle?

Xp29: I'm a mechanic and a car guy, I have been my entire life. Xp29 is the beginning of the vin number of my favorite car. It tells me everything important about the car. Which happens to be a 1969 big block Dodge R/T Charger with the roof wings. (The P denotes premium, which is the only model with roof wings). So what is the story behind your handle 🤔 😀

OK 🆗 I will.

Rocky is my heart and my very first dragon. 2022 is the year I got him.

Rocky is theeeeee best in the whole wide world and I'm so happy that I got him.
He made me get over my fear of reptiles. Prior, I only handled boa constrictors or other snake...go figure. Go big or go home! Rocky has taught me so much about him and myself.

2022....I didn't want to forget.

I love Rocky.

I think you had more relocation stress than Rocky did lol.

Mine's not hard ;)
Also had chosen this as most people here are either from the US or Europe, and making it more obvious that certain things might differ here (e.g. which season we're in, things I can buy like which lamps, which feeder insects - no Arcadia, no BSFL and no hornworms), helps.

And, yes, Taco is truly Chilean, whereas I'm not ;)

My handle is also very easy to decipher.
NickAVD: Nick is my name, AVD is the first three letters of my last name.
I should have taken a more serious approach to choosing my handle on the forum, but I didn't know that @xp29 would create this topic :ROFLMAO:

I'm sure you have the hardest handle to decode on the forum. I would never have known how much of a story it contains.
I'm an IT developer and have a strong connection with computers, so I've always associated your name with Microsoft Windows XP :) I often tell my family about the news happening on the forum when we gather for tea in the dining room. And I've gotten used to telling about your dragons or what you tell and calling you just XP. My wife always ask: "What's his name?" I answer: "I don't know, just XP from Vegas." But recently in one of the threads I finally found out, now I can call you by name in my stories about you and dragons (and not think about Windows anymore:ROFLMAO:).

I need to update my profile with current info. When I created it I didn't realize I'd be spending so much time here, I'm always cautious about putting anything out there that can be used to identify me but I'm not worried about it so much here anymore.

Your interpretation made me snicker a little. I've used several variations of xp29 for email and chat rooms (giving my age away there lol) and such over the years, I've been asked on more than 1 occasion if I was in I.T. lol.

Interesting question. Well mine is pretty obvious. My beardies name is Mirage. We named him that because when we first got him and let him out to roam we would turn our backs for 2 minutes and he would be gone. Under the bookshelf, dug himself under a towel, and one time he even jumped up on the stairs lol. So when I found this forum I used IAmAMirage lol

I searched for pictures of the 1969 Dodge R/T Charger
Very nice car, it looks like I imagined an American classic.
But I'm not sure if I found a premium, from rare there were SE and sunroof ones

It's kinda funny you made this thread actually! I had just been thinking about what everyone's names would be. Maybe it's something unique to me, but I like to imagine what people are like in real life based on their personality in threads and such. :)

Gus - he’s a rescue!
How much water should I be giving my bearded dragon? He will only drink from a dropper when I drop on his nose and I’m not sure if I should give it to him until he won’t drink anymore? Or should I stop after he’s had a certain amount?
