Spike is almost a year old and thanks to all the crappy advice we got from various people, he is small for his age. But we are slowly rectifying the situation and he is doing good in his new bigger home! Looking forward to chatting with you all and getting to know you!
Aww, he's soo adorable. I hope everything goes well from now on and that he gains some size.
Good luck with Spike and hope we'll hear from you and Spike soon.
You're in a right place for good advice about beardies.
Aww, thanks to you from me and Spike! Well both my husband and I are spoiling him rotten now that we have learned so much more from this site. I cannot wait 'til tomorrow when his Reptiworms get here! Thanks again!!!!
Yeah that face definitely ='ed love today...he got to eat his first reptiworms! HE WENT CRAZY WITH HAPPINESS!!!!!! He ate like ....well, let's just say A LOT of them. I will need to order more soon! LMAO! FAT BOY!!!! But I love him.....
Hehehe, that is really awesome. He'll be a big boy in no time.
I'm sure he is happy right now eating his repti-worms supply. I love watching them eat.
Dragons and tarantulas are super cool to me.
So adorable!
I just know I am gonna have to order more repti's now! I think now that he has the taste, I may be screwed. I don't understand the tarantula thing, but YIKES 42 of them!!!!? Do you breed them?
I must go start preparing his menu for Thanksgiving now!!
Sorry, I never noticed the reply on this asking about the bad advice we got. First, nobody told us we needed two lights, only one. They told us they only need to eat once a day or even every other day. They said salad alone would be fine if we wanted and never told us anything about how truly important dusting live food is. Is that enough bad info?! LOL. Unfortunately, the first dragon we got, Sebastian, died after 5 months. I really loved that little guy. He was SOOOO sweet. When my husband buried him in the backyard, I threw in some live crix for his journey.
I'm sorry that you lost your lil' buddy, but now he has all the crics and nommies that he wants, and I bet he's looking down on how you care for your new dragon friend.

Wow, sorry about your first one. Someone told me that Basil is eating in a day what he should be eating in a week  and that he would explode
I know better and feed Basil all he can eat.
