Gutloading feeders......

What do you all gutload your feeders with?

Just the basic dog/catfood with added greens or is there anything else extra you give them to benefit your beardies and why?

I use this recipe, I'm not sure about all the English words but I hope you will understand. I mix everything into a powder and feed together with some greens or fruit.

2 dl oatmeal

2 dl rye flakes

2 dl sunflower seeds

2 dl dried milk powder

2 dl wholegrain gruel powder

1 dl pollard

1 dl oat bran (?)

1 can of fish flakes (for aquarium fish)

And some pellets for rodents

Thanks for the reply.....

I am currently using -

Dry catfood

Koi fish pellets

Dried beetle larvae - 40% protein

Raisins - for moisture without mold

Crushed up in a blender and vits dusted with extra greens added daily.

My mealies are kept on oatbran but the locusts (too much mess) and roaches (high humidity) have no substrate.

I of cource am always interested in improving this though which is why i started this thread.

I am guessing you use powderedmilk for added calcium?

Why the sunflower seeds?

Currently trying not to stress over my anemic dragon....she is being treated, but I don't agree with her treatment plan and have been seeking out a second opinion from another vet. If anyone else has dealt with anemia, please let me know how it was resolved. I am losing sleep over this
Another post lol. My beardie does not like enclosures. Her tank is the kids room and she has created a nesting/bed spot in the corner. She will cuddle with my son but she know when the lights are out and the kids go to sleep, she literally goes to her bed like she is our 3rd baby. I love her. And to think, I never wanted a beardie lol
Please help. My beardie is my baby and I am worried she may be egg bound but I can't tell. She is over 2 yrs old and has never laid an egg. She has been swollen for two days and can't tell if she may be impacted or egg bound. Please help.
I'm still looking to adopt. I live near Homerville Georgia.
