Hi tracie, Thank you so much for the reply, she hasn’t been getting much calcium as she hasn’t been eating for a couple of days. She had a calcium shot yesterday, she is back at the vets now and is going to be having another ultrasound. My vet Zoe has said if she sees follicles we need to spay her and remove the eggs, bee has been active and alert digging but no sign of pushing or laying but is still black beard constantly even when asleep. She has started to get a slight twitch in her back leg which I am worried is due to any eggs pressing on her spine or possible infection. My vet has said she can do the operation today if needed but I am very worried due to her past health and her age.If we don’t remove them through operation she will need to be put to sleep as she can not pass them Herself she has been trying for 4 days to lay and is getting more and more stressed. I am worried to put her through an operation and she won’t wake up but I feel as though that would be a better way to go than euthanasia anyway.I am also worried about recovery but she is a tough little bean and has been through a lot. Any experiences/help with the spaying side of things would be very appreciated as I am loosing my mind with worry over little peanut 😞
