Went to the reptile show in Oaks, PA today, and swore to myself that I wouldn't get another beardie...well low and behold, I came home with a new yellow Hypo Trans American Smoothie female. She's about 11 inches. She came home and ate 2 small superworms and a smaller hornworm. She's set up in 20 long right now, til Hurricane Irene passes us and I can get a 40 gallon or build stackable cages for her, Blaze, and Chevelle.
If you guys have any suggestions for names, throw them my way. 8/29 we decided on Alexandria.
I only have one picture of her on the way home. I'll have more up soon.
Thanks Brandon!
She's very pretty. She's perfect. No nips. Solid black eyes. Blue/purple belly. Im so happy with her.
She keeps arm waving at Blaze, and now he is going nuts, black bearding and head bobbing...which I've never seen him do...
I went to the Oaks, PA show as well. Did you get her from TND dragons or the one near the end of aisle 2? She is beautiful! I saw some silkies/leatherbacks there. Cute! I am still trying to decide on names for the little guys I got from the show too =) I will try to think of a name for her as well!
No, unfortunately I didn't get her from Tom. I was looking at this one girl that he had though, she was feisty little thing and had such a little personality. She was from Dragon Fortress. But she is doing great, no relocation stress, and eating her greens already!
We were thinking about naming her Irene, just because of the irony of getting her on the day the hurricane hit us. Or Alexandria, just because we love that name. Lol. I hate picking names.
Thank you! She's such a doll.
So I weighed her the first night I brought her home, 49 grams.
The next night, 56 grams.
Today, before her second feeding...63 grams.
How does that happen!?!?
I've only had her for 2 days, and she gained almost 20 grams...Im in shock, but a good kind.
