im going on vacation for about 4 days to a cabin up by a lake. as of right now i plan on taking my two bearded dragons with me because i dont see another option. the only people i trust to take care of them are the people going with me. so heres my plan: let them ride in a small box on my feet and sit on my lap on the way there (its about 3 hours) and take two large rubbermaid totes for them to stay in while im there. i know theyll probly get stressed out and this is going to be nothing but trouble for me. i was wandering if anyone had any ideas for a way of keeping them home for 4 days? they would be completely alone for 3 full days. could they survive without crickets and worms for that length of time? i could throw in a bunch of salad or something, but idk. helpppp
Ah right, if they were over a year I think they'd probably be fine with just a bunch of salad. Im not the most experienced person on here, so I wont say whether or not it would be ok to leave them at home. However with relocation stress they would probably not eat for 3+ days anyway....
My beardy stayed alone at home for 5 days.
Mind you he had a bit of fat on him.
I just fed him up a bit before I went and left him a couple of bowls of his dry beardy pellets.
It's always a risk leaving them alone, and I would have taken him with me if I could have.
