Hi there,

I recently moved from CO to CA for the summer, and as expected, my beardie is getting used to things. Same tank and everything, but it's been two weeks now and he has recently being glass surf excessively. I usually keep him tank very clean, and it is due for a cleaning so maybe that could be it, I'll clean it tomorrow. Not many stress marks but lots of surfing, also in the mornings he says on cool side of the tank until he is dark and a little cold??? Idk why he won't warm up in the mornings without my help. How concerned should I be, his appetite is fine.

ALSO i can know let him free roam a lot more and he loves it. Maybe he's just upset he doesn't get to free roam all day long? When he free roams he also glass surfs on his tank...? And I've seen him *licking* on the inside of his tank lately, which he usually only does in new environments (like I said, same tank and same materials inside).

He's also about to shed...

I miss you so much, Amaris 💔
What is a quick way to warm up a cold beardie? His heating element went out overnight and now he's very cold.

i feel so sad reading your about me 😢
Clapton is acclimating okay I think. He's quick as lightning so I'm not sure how much I should bring him out of his house yet. He's not at all interested in his salad though. I wonder if I should change what I'm giving him. Least he's eating his crickets.

Things to do:
Buy calcium powder
Material to raise surface for basking spot
Scenery decals for back of tank
