Glass surfing at night

My desk is near baby Mushu's tank and sometimes I'm up late. In an attempt to get him in a schedule, I turn his lights off at 9-10PM. There's a bit of light from my laptop, but I dont make much noise. But when I turn off his and my lights, he starts glass surfing the front of his tank and looking at me. His tank has a den and a tree branch. Is this a bad sign or is it normal for him to do that? Maybe he's bored or cold? It's not an abnormal temperature at night in his tank and he does it, immediately after the lights go off.

You can get a piece of fleece or something like that to wrap him loosely so the light doesn't bother him.

Sometimes beardies glass surf for attention maybe he can see you are up and wants to come out, my beardies glass surf too. You can do what I do, I make them a little bed and wrap them in a blanket they go to right to sleep. Mine is a box with a big blanket folded in it then a smaller blanket ontop of my beardies.

My guess is he can still see by the light of your computer and isn't ready for bed because of it. If you don't want to go the blanket route, you could drape something over the cage to make it dark for him.

A blanket is great! I just literally make him a little bed?

If you want to you can, I have to little beds for each of my dragons and I have to say they love it! As soon as I put them in that's it they are fast asleep. Just make sure it's comfy for them and they have a blanket over them as well as under them so they are nice and warm too that will help them sleep.
