haha, Well I just guessed the size of the tank before, but just found out the actual size which isn't too bad. I will eventually get a glass tank, just not now. I'm going to see how this goes. It's worth a shot, I'm spending roughly $400 as it is right to start this up, so I mean if the temps are not good then I'll have to go out and get a tank. I checked walmart, canadian tire, zellers, and a couple others and no one had a 24" fixture, but I'll have the 18" anyway which should be fine.
I know at the pet store I'm getting mine at, they feed them about 6 crickets a day and mist once of twice a day.
Where abouts are you in Canada Josh? I just adopted a dragon from a neglectful family :x but I think with the right care she will be fine!!! I live in Victoria BC and In a pet store "Creatures Great and Small they are about $80.00 (price goes down a few bucks if you have a membership) I didnt have to option to choose obviously, but I think a breeder is a great idea!! They probably do know their stuff way more... I think pet shops are a little wonky ~ mind you we dont really know eachother here either... Anything the pet sotre guy told me (and he said he has literally A ROOM for reptiles has completely been contradicted here!! Now I am COMPLETLY confused and nervous with her!! I DONT WHICH WAY(S) ARE GOING TO BE THE BEST!!!
I live in atlantic canada, Fredericton NB. I'm going to pick the dragon up monday around supper time here from the pet store. I'll definantly be taking more care of it than the pet store does. I'm just hoping they give me a deal on crickets for spending 400$ there on everything because they sell the crickets at 63$ for 1000. I'm going to get them online after those are gone.
