geckos and anoles?

What's confusing about it? Anything can be housed together, but that doesn't mean they won't fight. That goes without saying putting a strictly tropical lizard with a desert one isn't exactly a smart idea. There are territorial issues, along with competition for food. Don't do it. Get one or the other, or buy separate tanks for the different species, and be happy with it.

Good idea =) It's never a good thing to put two different species of animals in the same environment. EVEN if they normally live in the same environment in the wild, that doesn't mean they won't compete for territory or food.
