Gaping or angry?

hello! I just wanted to come on here and ask if anyone could tell me what my little man is doing. He will just be chilling in his cage and then randomly he will open his mouth and I know they will do this for heat regulation but he will even do this when he’s not basking, he doesn’t puff his beard or turn black, he just does it and looks around a bit and stops within a few seconds, I’ve tried googling it but I like to hear from actual beardie parents. Thank you!

My really young baby does it while basking, on my arm, or roaming - I have always put it off to gaping for heat regulation - if there's no other tell-tale signs of aggression or stress - this, from my experience and what I've read, even on here, is completely normal and is gaping.

Ok this is just like a new thing he started and it worried me, he will do it when he’s basking a while but recently he will do it where ever he is for like 30 seconds and then run away, I didn’t know if that was weird behavior or not 😂

they LOVE to mess with our heads! nothing wrong with worrying over nothing. much better than not worrying when you should. why we love when people ask questions around here. means they care about their scaly babies.

sometimes when sir henry gets up in the morning, or is getting close to a shed, he'll open his mouth as wide as he can, puff the beard up with no black beard, and move his head in like a half circle. scared the daylights outta me the first time, but now it's just like "oh really now". it's like us stretching when we get out of bed. or in cases of near shed, loosening those scales up to help them come off.

right now he's asleep and his mouth is still open a little and that adorable tongue is sticking out just a bit. love it when he does that!

Surgery, Blood transfusion, Internal bleeding (potentially) not confirmed, Sudden onset anemia, potential aneurism etc. Echo stayed in the hospital overnight and the dr did not have good news when she called to update me today. I’m not 100% sure that I made the right decision by coming to pick her up (against what the dr recommended) but she was in far worse condition since having dropped her off. Help! 2nd opinion!?
The basking side of my tank isn't getting up to the suggested 100degrees. Does that mean I need to get a new basking light?
does her poop look healthy?
In your perspective does my baby bearded dragon look healthy or unhealthy? Does she look bloated? she is active and eats very well also she is in her basking spot all day

you know that feeling when you want to change your profile picture, but like you don’t want to lose the good one you have? That’s me, right now
