Fungus or shedding problem

I am a new owner of a bearded dragon. I have had him for 2 months. He has had this dark area on him since I got him. It was further up on his head but that seems to have cleared up and now it has moved further down on the back of his neck. Please help. Any advice is appreciated

Please get him into the vet ASAP --- website to find a vet www.arav.org
they are going to need to do a scraping of the area --- to see what it is --- if your in a small town type in the zip code to the biggest town/ city near you
