Fruit flies

I seem to have gotten fruit flies in my discoid bin, maybe for leaving fruit into long? anyone have this problem and know a good remedy?

Clean out the bin the put a fruit fly trap near it. The next day all the flies will be in there.

I usually take a glass jar like Hammer, but instead of the cone, I cover the lid with plastic wrap and use vinegar as my bait.

So its basically a jar 1/4 filled with white vinegar with a tight cover of plastic wrap over the top. Poke a bunch of tiny holes in the plastic. The flies will go in, and drown in vinegar. I use a couple...plus the old hand glue fly trap.
